That's ok mate, in the past I've requested stuff, but now know better not too, I know you get a little peeved every now and again, who doesn't your only human (I think??)

Now these are pretty obscure, of course I've heard of Ghost World, but the other two, well over my head Anybody seen them, any recommendations?

Oh, and DS: I haven't actually seen American Splendor because I generally avoid Paul Giamatti, just not a fan. I did see Art School Confidential a few years back and only vaguely remember it, but it was okay, I guess.

I'm not really into these slow-moving, lots-of-talking, nothing-blowing-up indie dramas, but in the interest of providing the most complete comic-book-inspired collection possible, I've included them...

I wondered if you'd do those "indie" comic movies at some point all together, they are in a class all their own. A nice tribute to the late Harvey Pekar. Haven't seen Art School but I liked Ghost World, AS is worth checking out for the performances alone. Paul Giamatti is all sorts of Paul Giamatti in it, but it's still good.

The American Splendor cover begs the question of weather or not you're going to add a cover for "Crumb"? Didn't Robert Crumb draw a bunch of American Splendors. I know not necessarily a comic movie but I think probably a deserving addition. Just food for thought.

Oh ya and since I mentioned Crumb, is "Fritz the Cat" on your list of "to do's"? Not requests, as I don't use your covers, but, I do love the series of covers you've come up with and eagerly wait to see what you add next.

Geez thinking of Crumb brought to mind Vaughn Bode and Wizards. There's another comic related movie that I wonder if you thought of, or if it even fits your criteria for inclusion.

Damn and while I'm at it there was the Frank Frazetta inspired "Fire and Ice". Okay, okay I know it wasn't a comic book, but I'm geeking out here and it came to mind.

Again, not requests. Just trying to mention some flicks that may have been overlooked because of how obscure they are and the iffyness of their qualifications.

Yeah, I thought about Crumb but I'm not sure. I have to look into it further, but I think it's a biopic of Robert Crumb rather than an adaptation of a bio-comic (?) like American Splendor kind of was. I think the difference is American Splendor actually was a comic based on Pekar's life that became a movie, while Crumb was just a movie and never a comic.

How about this: when I am absolutely done with every other actual comic-related cover and I still have some energy left, I'll consider the more obscure stuff a bit more.

I guess the download counts on my last three covers will also help to determine whether there is even an interest in these indie-movie/indie-comic covers.

I'll try to be back in a few days with some more stuff! Currently have nothing new started.

Kernie, thaks man, you've inspired me to redo all my TV series titles in a similar manner, I love the continuity of the spine, which look awesome per shelf, of coure mine will wait till I get some money for printing and what not. hehe And don't worry I'll not post them, and the will be different in style and workmanship.
