Discuss what you like in here. But try and keep it reasonably civilised!

If you can believe it, dear friends, it's once more unto the breach... :D

The idea for this one actually comes from a thread by batboysmatboy a while back about the old George Reeves Superman series where Clark Kent's reporter was as much of a hero as the Man of Steel himself. That idea that regular people can be heroes through their everyday work stuck with me. Of course, in the process of translating this thought into a shirt, I've cheapened it into "Dress like a superhero!" But the heart is built into the design, even if it doesn't show.

Anyone who can lend me a hand with an "I'd buy it as a t-shirt" and a high number would be greatly, greatly appreciated, as always. :)

Also, I've finally taken Jolly Roger's advice and added a cute girl to the preview photo. I couldn't find a stock photo of a large-breasted woman in a t-shirt, but it's a start, right Jakob? :)

And thanks again for checking in on this! I can't say enough how much the support means to me. :)

My favorite design so far. All the rest were great but this one gets the fanboy in me.

Thank you, sir. :) I'm hoping I'll get lucky and a few people will agree with you. :)

This one is feeling like a wild card... likely to hit around a 1.8, but maybe, just maybe, it could provide a surprise. :D

Nicely Done. Gave it 5 and T-shirt and Print.

Not to hi-jack your thread, but as soon as I read that review about George Reeves and the way he played Clark Kent and Superman, it hit me right in the heart. I always felt he portrayed those characters the best. He brought a human quality to Superman and a nobility to Clark Kent that no other actor after him could ever capture.

I posted that review because of the impact those portrayals had on the reviewer and the impact they had on me. It was more that a "feel good" moment and I was hoping those that read his review would take away something good, noble, and inspiring about the Human (and Super-Human) condition.

You have giving me concrete proof that my objective has been fulfilled and I thank you for that T-shirt design, my friend.

You have shown that when we really need it, there is a little Clark Kent and a little Superman in all of us.

Hi-jack over.

Thanks again

Thanks, guys! And thank you for the original inspiration batboysmatboy. :) It's nice to be able to have a story behind the design, here's hoping it will have some legs and I'll get a chance to pass it along. ;)

There's actually a bit of happenstance at play here too: I was finished with this the day Threadless started a competition for comic book-inspired works. I'm going to choose to take that as a good sign until shatteringly proven otherwise. :D

Thanks LCD, and thanks to everyone else who took the time to vote. It's really great of you to keep helping me out, this last one ended at 2.43/5.

Better than I would have expected. :)

And, it's back to the drawing board, I guess. :S

Nothing encouraging on the t-shirt front yet, ol' pals, but I figured it couldn't hurt to share my latest attempt at winning something, entries into a cap design contest from New Era. :)

If you like any of them, voting help is greatly appreciated! (You can vote daily, but just once is cool, no sign-up required, only one click)

From left to right above, they're
The Admiral
The Swiss Penny
The Half Shade
The Marlowe
The Razzle Dazzle

The first and last ones seem like they might have a chance so far (comparatively speaking :S )

Thanks for looking! :)
