Your wrong mate I would have never even considered them, never crossed my mind.

I think but I'll probably be wrong that the tales from the crypt series wasn't screened in it's entirety in the UK, the odd episodes might have aired but I don't seem to remember them, seen Bordello of Blood a few times, but that's about it The series I would imagine was more of a U.S. thing.

So you got me with these :) Of course I';ll download them, and I'll have to start looking for a source to get a hold of them :)

The covers look great though, the slime I take it is from the Turtles covers :) nice use, especially like the demon knight and bordello covers :)

You have me intrigued now just to see what all the fuss over these series was :)

Really nice addition, though it might be a while before I get a hold of them.

Well done mate :)

I thought you might have spotted my request over at MG, that's why I thought you knew what was coming. :P

The slime is from the Turtles covers, but I added a mud texture overlay to give it a little more of a sludge look.

In my opinion, Demon Knight was much much better than Bordello. And while I remember watching these episodes when I was younger when Fox reran them (edited, of course), I probably have only seen about a season and a half of all the episodes.

I think the fuss over this series was that it had a lot of big name stars along with some big name directors adapting stories from old horror comics, and it was one of the first TV shows (on premium cable HBO) to feature excessive gore and nudity. Unfortunately, since it was an anthology show, that meant that some episodes were really well done while others paled in comparison.

Glad you like them! It's good to know that I might still have a few surprises up my sleeve that you haven't expected! :D :D :D

Having been enjoying hospital food for the last week or so, I'm a little behind. Imagine my joy when I found the Gen13 cover, it's excellent Kernie, I'm blown away. And Tales from the Crypt?!?!?! Talk about a blast from the past for me, that's excellent. Keep up the great work Kernie

No I never saw the request at MG, so it was a surprise :D mind you I've only just recently started going back on there, the site had a few problems I believe.

And yes I'll look forward to the other surprises you come up with :D

The show was AWESOME! There was a human-steak diner episode, come on, that's awesome! I loved Demon Night! I looked on Amazon and they actually have Tales from the Crypt presents: Ritual. The Cryptkeeper is on the cover! Nice surprise Kernie! Exclamation!

I hate to ask but it's was a pain to find the two movies on their own used or new around here. However, Wal*mart has the double feature for $7.50 presently, which I just picked up; is there a way you could do a combo cover???? I know it's asking a lot and I don't think you've done a combo cover but the double feature is the most common way to find it now, that's how they have it at best buy as well. What do you think, I think it'd be cool to see what you'd do with a combo cover!

I realize that the Double Feature version is pretty much the only version currently available, but here are my three initial reactions to doing combo covers:
1) I don't know how to do that with the template I've established and have used successfully for 230+ covers without drastically altering it in some way.
2) That will open a giant can of worms and I'll probably start getting a bunch of requests for "Iron Man 1 & 2" combo and so on. I know it's just one exception now, but that's how these things start (like that damn Darksaber *suggesting* I do live-action covers all those months ago and now I get no sleep! :P :P :P )
3) And my third reaction... ugh, like I need more work! :D :D

I'm not saying I won't come up with a great idea for how to handle combo covers and eventually come around to the idea, but for right now, I'm not all that motivated to crack that nut... :(

Yeah, Surrogates will be along eventually, but I didn't realize it was based on a comic until a few weeks ago. I've got a few other covers that I'm more interested in at the moment, but I'll try to add Surrogates before the end of summer/early Fall at the latest. :D

I knew you'd say something like that! :bandance:

Guess I'll just use the Demon Knight cover, or try to find each flick used or something. I don't think it's a can of worms thing because the other films are readily available by themselves and right now, in primary market, non used product, this double feature is really the only way to buy it without ordering them individually online, plus they do kind of lend themselves to a double feature situation...oh well it was worth asking! I'm also partially responsible for asking about the live action covers way back, I'll split the blame for this AMAZING collection with Darksaber!!! For right now I'm happy to use the Demon Knight cover (I like that movie better anyway) until I find them both used. Once I get the live action Spawn cover I'll only have maybe 5 or 6 to buy in order to use all the covers I've printed, three of which come out one a week for the next three weeks! Heck if it wasn't for the awesome update I probably wouldn't have thought twice about Tales from the Crypt, now I want to re-watch them all. Thanks for the hard and fun work, I hope you're still enjoying it!
