Glad to hear you like the new batch, Punisherchad!! :D :D

But now I'm afraid I'm going to have to get into a nerd-argument with you...

I'm not going to make a "Constantine" cover with the title "Hellblazer." The movie is called "Constantine," regardless of what the original comic book was called, "Hellblazer" is not "really the title," it was an early working title that was eventually changed. I think to acknowledge the distinction by making two covers with two different titles for the same movie would further add to the confusion. I understand where you're coming from, but I think custom covers should keep a few key things intact, like the title of the film. I mean, I'd prefer "The Wizard of Oz" to be known as "Dumb Tart Falls Into Pig-pen and Dreams a Stupid Dream," but I'm not going to make a custom with that title. :D :D

And as far as I know, "Blade II: Blood Hunt" was only a working title and I don't think it was ever released in any market with "Blood Hunt" on the film's title card. As far as I'm concerned, working titles should not be considered the same as the official final title... unless you'd rather see "Return of the Jedi" called "Blue Harvest."

Bottom line is, I go by what comes up on the screen at the beginning of the film and/or what is listed as the official title on IMDB.

That being said, I'm going to try to have your whole collection wrapped in my covers by the end of July!! And I'll update my IM2 and Jonah Hex covers as soon as official details are released from the studio!

I can dig it and we've talked about it before, one thing though...Star Wars was Blue Harvest...not Jedi BOOM! :giggle:
Like I said the Constantine cover is awesome, no hate there at all, only love. Hate goes to WB for not giving it the proper name to start with, that's life though. This is such an amazing collection to think of how much you've done in how little time is kind of freaking amazing! Please don't think I'm complaining at all I love your work, even outside this collection!

BOOM!! BOOM!! :D Return of the Jedi WAS Blue Harvest!! See here.

Nobody gave a crap about the original Star Wars when it was being made, so it didn't need a fake working title. The secrecy around "Jedi" was so tight that they used the fake working title of "Blue Harvest" to avoid attention and to keep location costs from milking the fact that it was a big-budget film.

Family Guy used the "Blue Harvest" title for their first "Star Wars" parody because they didn't think they'd do another one, hence the confusion as to which film actually bore the fake "Blue Harvest" name.

You keep trying to prove me wrong, Punisherchad... but to quote Wesley Snipes in Blade 1: "Some muthaf***ers are always trying to ice-skate uphill." :D :D :D

(Just kidding about everything above... you know I love ya and value your continued interest in this collection!!)

Double dammit, you keep Family guy out of this, and bring this Quick Stop to me...

I was totally ice skating uphill dammit, that's what I get for not checking my facts huh...
And this...is my last post...ever...

:microwave: :iamwithstupid:

I wasn't trying to prove you wrong about Blade or Constantine, just pointing out that when I bought Blade2 on dvd and the soundtrack the ugly little white label that holds them shut so you can't steal them said Blade II: Bloodhunt even though it was nowhere else to be found, just saying, studios do wacky stuff you know. You totally bazingaed me on the Jedi thing, Lucas called he wants to revoke my fanboy card...

Well, hopefully you're just joking about the last post ever... I'd sure miss you around here!! :( :(

And I know you meant no offense about Blade 2 or Constantine, I just wanted to explain my opinion on altering film titles because of the stupid stuff the studios sometimes do.

While I may have won the Blue Harvest argument, just remember: the winner of an internet forum argument is still a loser... :( :(

Yeah I'll stop posting...and bears will all migrate to the sea! Your joke at the end made me laugh so hard I got yelled at for waking up my son at 7:49 AM, losers can't wake up people's kids through the internet, just saying.

 :45:

More summertime happy-fun updates!! :D

First up is "Generation X," the 1996 Fox Network telefilm based on the "X-Men" comic book spinoff. I can recall being a young teenager and rabidly counting the days until this aired, just to catch my first glimpse of any kind of live-action X-Men, and I think it was that novelty that overshadowed just how bad of a film this actually was. After four big-budget theatrical X-Men outings, I still have a soft spot for this one, because for better or worse, this was the first time the students at Xavier's School appeared in live action.

Unfortunately, there were next-to-no resources available for this film... I actually scanned the cover image from an ad in an old X-Men comic and jazzed it up as best I could. So I apologize for some low quality imagery, but there was practically nothing available.

Next... Season 1 of the 1988 live-action Superboy television series. Only Season 1 has been released to DVD so far, with the remaining three seasons shelved by Warner Bros. due to poor sales of Season 1. So for anyone wondering why I haven't done covers for Season 2-4, there's your answer.

Superboy: Season 1:

The third new cover is "The Rocketeer." I actually quite enjoy this movie. It's got a fun 1930's period vibe and the perpetually ageless and sexy Jennifer Connelly. Here's hoping director Joe Johnston can replicate the all-American 1930's tone again with his upcoming "Captain America" film.

The Rocketeer:

Next is "The Spirit" in both Blu-ray and DVD. I still haven't seen this one, and from the reviews I've seen, I probably shouldn't bother... :(

The Spirit:

And finally, here's "A History of Violence" in Blu-ray and DVD. I haven't seen this one either, but from the reviews, I probably should... :D

That should get Punisherchad pretty close to having a complete collection, only Spawn and Wanted left to go, right? Unless you bought anything new, you filthy bugger... :D

And here's a look at the entire Comic Book Collection so far... 210 DVD's, 73 Blu-rays!

Enjoy!! :D :D :D

This collection is just incredible man. Spine by spine they look. So great. Seriously I didn't even know some of these were graphic novels before movies. I'm 26 and now just starting to read them. But very jealous of collection you have worked on.
