Nice job!

I would go with image #2 because it gives the most info about the movie as shows the character as active.

For the from, I suggest fine-tuning colors and using light/shadow to bering stronger focus to the main character:

QUOTE (Arkflip @ May 7 2017, 11:20 AM) I'm now struggling with the back, any ideas for what I should use? The more i look into what I had, the more I dislike it :(

I would place the synopsis in the back first to see what space you have to work with? The first 4 or so films have an incredible ...

I think it was the color profile of my GIF, or the GIF was stuck on the first frame which was the original image before showing the suggestion?

They already have bright rim lights, but their front lights are too intense making it slightly harder for the eye to focus. I suggest adding shadow to show character's form and make it more dramatic/less flat ...

Great! I think the new background image could work better if it affected the character's lighting more?

I made adjustments of brightness/contrast and lessened the saturation of the lit areas. You might have to desaturate the newly lit areas of Ron and Hermione more to match Harry's grey robes ...

Cool! His and should definitely be behind for clarity. The regular (not bolded) text in the synopsis is slightly too thin/too light.

This is nikerun/Paris (I couldn't access my old account :Tumbleweed: ) Glad to see an original set from you, man!!

Nice, Kernie! I recommend adding more contrast to the stills area by darkening the fg elements in each picture to give it more dimension and make it feel less flat and washed out? I love it so far!

Great start! I recommend trying to bring everything down to a limited color palette - it'll help everything feel better composited and more cohesive. Enlarging the characters will help give this more of a retail feel and will help them regain clear, information hierarchy.

I attached a .psd if you ...
