AVG will do the trick indeed.
As Coolwolf is saying copy the content of your DVD to a new folder on your HDD.
Scan the folder with AVG which will clean or move the infected file(s) to your virus vault.
When your done cleaning, throw away your DVD and burn the content of your new folder to a DVD ...
