Thanks for the awesome list of resources, weyn!

I've watched a few of his videos in the past, and I'd say that PiXimperfect and Jesus Ramirez at the Photoshop Training Channel are two Photoshop Gods on YouTube.

I've developed my own ways of a doing a lot of the topics described above, but I'm definitely going to check out their tutorials to compare notes (chances are their ways are infinitely better than mine)!

Thanks for this, buddy! :D :D :D

Includes Compositing, colorizing, colors, skin tones, lighting etc.

Some time ago, I stumbled upon a very precious Youtube channel, called PiXimperfect. This guy is literally the best Photoshop crack I know out there. He gets straight to the point while mentioning important techniques, key shortcuts etc. in a step-by-step manner at the same time. People in the comments even claim he knows PS better than the Adobe developer team

Here I'm posting some tutorials in grouping topics (starting with the basics) that I considered to be very useful for me. I've also indicated the length of each video and the italic ones are especially interesting for cover designers:
All PS blend modes explained (42:12)
Organize layers + easily find objects on your canvas (2:13)
Blending and compositing (30:27)
Match subject with background part 1(27:25)
Match subject with background part 2 (31:25)
Mask selection tip 1 (03:20)
Mask selection tip 2 (08:43)

Realistically colorize skin tones on a B/W image (18:57)
Equalize skin tones (19:02)
Remove red skin patches [f.i. on cheeks] (01:00)
Whiten eyes (09:07)
Enhance eye details (21:35)

Enhance & boost colors (02:37)
Color matching for different objects (26:03)
Color grading images (31:04)

Blend transparent objects [f.i. glass] (18:23)
Swap heads (37:05)

Remove Moiré effect (02:51)
Remove edge fringes (14:13)
Remove color fringe on hair/fur (04:00)

Extract realistic shadows tip 1 (16:17)
Extract realistic shadows tip 2 (29:27)

Juicy HDR effect (01:00)
Dramatic sky (01:00)
Add light/shine (11:01)
Dual lighting effect (12:06)

You might as well wanna check out his other videos: List of videos

Anyway, I hope some of you designers will find these tutorials helpful. Enjoy!
