Thanks for all the comments guys.

I find myself lured into going fully retail, but then realise that certain elements can be quite restrictive and end up tweaking things anyway. Case in point: the little C at the top center. It bugs me now I've noticed it, so I'll remove it on the next update.

The legals for this one have been quite hard to track down; it was initially distributed by 'Filmways Pictures', which is now defunct and any re-releases are under MGM. Obviously, the Criterion factor made it fairly straightforward for the rest of the stuff.

I'll provide a full MGM alternate without all the Criterion branding using the MGM template.

A label will also follow.

You probably don't need the little "C" at the top center, it's one of those template elements that tends to work best either exactly as it is on the retail or left out entirely.

Great work on this cover. It's a true treat when you can look at a unique design and think, "Only one person could have created this."

Looks a lot better now :)

It does look better aligned. As for the odd line, you could always add more, instead of removing them, if you wanted to keep that element on the back

Thanks guys.

I originally had the tagline all aligned, but centered it to add the little arch in the top left. Couldn't decide if I liked it or not. Have removed it now and pushed the specs box over too.

This looks great! I agree with sauron for the most part, but I think if you're gonna left align the tagline then stretch it out so it fits with the rest of the text :)

Nice update - only thing I can suggest is to keep everything on the back left aligned so it matched the text alignment on the front, I would nudge the tagline to the left and bring the specification thing in to the right a bit...

Also the line on the top left is a bit distracting, I know it's meant to be a continuation of the front but as there's only one on the back I don't think it's neccesarry.

Update

Looking good! I would adjust the gap between this bit.

Option 4 it is, then. Just brightened the dark grey tone slightly.
