The guy did a pretty good job at describing the general pointers of the game...but in actual fact Rugby Union has the most complex set of rules in comparison with other ball games. It's also the worlds most physcial challenging ball game.
The film also throws up a few inaccuracies, the young men depicted in the movie would not be allowed to play the game with all that upper body padded protection....(I believe they allow that kind of thing in American Football...but definitely not in Rugby). The "Yellows" scrum-half is shown adjusting the rear of his shorts, although this is totally acceptable, it should be noted that in game proper the scrum-half's shorts would have a 7" skid mark clearly visible for all to see. This phenomenon occurs because the scrum-half has to endure 80 minutes of clattering from a forward pack weighing in at just under 1 metric tonne.....hence the skid mark becomes clearly visible after the scrum-half craps himself during the first 60 seconds of play.
I also observed that all the young men in the movie have their ears....It's a fact forwards have no ears, they are either worn off, torn off, or bitten off.
Something else struck me funny about the young men in the movie ..... where are their ball bulges ..... it doesn't look like they have a pair of testicles between them!!???????
