So Whiteout was one of my all time favorite comics. I met the creators Greg Rucka and Steve Lieber many years ago and got the chance to tell them how much I enjoyed their comic. Greg was very humble and quite gracious. Steve... Well Steve is one of the best dressed and nicest guys in comics. I even bought a couple pages of original art from Steve and he was kind enough to do a sketch of Carrie for me. Needless to say I was quite excited when they announced a movie. I'll be honest, I haven't seen it yet. I'm waiting for the retail release of the BR & DVD. But, I have had a crack at a label for it. I'm kinda pleased with how it turned out and think it captures the feel of the original comics.
