Well i watched this last night ....

Thanx to Ky i would have completely missed this.

Throughly enjoyed it, the way it was filmed was sheer brilliance however i did
find myself getting abit confused during the middle of the movie but when the end came
i finally figured it out :)

The structure of the story and how it was put together (Pathfinders side and the Storytellers side)
and bringing em together was done extremely well.

Thanx KY i really did enjoy it.......

Ink [an Indie film by Jamin Winans/Double Edge Production Company]

I don’t often critique movies in fact……ever! But, Jamin Winans film “Ink” was so mesmerizingly beautiful and flawlessly delivered that nobody could fail to be moved by it.
Ink is all about redemption, on the surface its simple story of Dreamweaver’s [good guys] V. Incubi [bad guys]. But, what goes on between is intellectual brilliance and beyond.
The Dreamweaver’s come in the dead of night to give people good dreams but, the Incubi have a more frightening objective.
Ink is a drifter who is fraught with anxieties and an unbalanced state-of-mind. The Incubi make him an offer which includes him being transformed into one of them IF, he brings to them the soul of an insignificant child!
Life changing, actions and events are controlled by a beat………1,2,3,4
That’s all you’re getting……..otherwise to much will be revealed.
As soon the movie starts you know its going to be a roller-coaster ride filled with varying degrees of emotion. The pastel blur cinematography of the opening scene was a clue of what was to follow. The whole movie took the viewer to new and higher levels of cinematic experience. Jeff Pointers use of digital filter techniques was relentless and ground-breaking I have never seen this kind of filming on screen before. I read that this movie was budgeted at $250,000.00 if that’s the case, maybe its time for the big-boys to wake-up because, for me this movie ranks along side the best of them.
The cast were superb. Look out for Chris Kelly [John] and Jessica Duffy [Liev] I think you will be seeing more of them on the big screen. Also, the beautiful Quinn Huncher who, plays the little girl [Emma] ……see her roar!

This is a must watch movie [if nothing else, but for sheer technical brilliance]. I personally guarantee you have never experienced the like of it before. Prepare, to be moved!

Quick Note.

Ink has moved up the IMDB ratings and is now in the top 100 due to ½ million torrent downloads.

I have already placed my order for a signed Blu-Ray copy with Double Edge Films.
