Hey Daniel....

I'm running the Phenom II X4 920 and a Radeon HD 5670...let me know how big of a performance
boost you get with the X6.....I'm still debating upgrading.

P.S...Great choice in motherboards.

Nice collection you got there Ubl, looks like you need a bigger box to hold your empty cd cases :D

been a while since I have updated this, and I have completely lost track of what's new and what's not.

I recently did some calculating and discovered that since Summer I have received an average of 1 package a day. Did anyone say shopaholic?

anyway, my computer tells me that since the last post this is the cd's I have received. Not all is of self purchase, I have a very gift friendly mother who gave me about 20 cd's for Xmas.

M.I.A. - Arular
TV on the Radio - Dear Science
The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
Beck - Odelay
The Who - My Generation
Queen - A night at the Opera
Metallica - Kill 'Em All
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Metallica - ...And Justice for All
Selvmord - Selvmord
Sigur Rós - Von
Velvet Underground - White Light White Heat
Velvet Underground - Loaded
The White Stripes - De Stijl
The White Stripes - White Blood Cells
The White Stripes - Get Behind me Satan
Smashing Pumpkins - Gish
Smashing Pumpkins - Adore
Lamb - Lamb
The Flaming Lips - Embryonic
Talib Kweli - Eardrum
David Bowie - Scary Monsters
David Bowie - The Man who Sold the Earth
David Bowie - Lodger
David Bowie - Let's Dance
David Bowie - Young Americans
Wolfmother - Cosmic Egg
Sonic Youth - SYR4
Nirvana - Live at Reading
Nirvana - Bleach
Sunset Rubdown - Dragon Slayer
Elbow - Cast of Thousands
Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
My Latest Novel - Death and Entrances
Volcano Choir - Unmap
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Soundtrack - Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels
Kanye West - College Dropout
Kanye West - Late Registration
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III
Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy
AC/DC - Let There Be Rock
The Clash - London Calling
The Clash - The Clash
Chemical Brothers - Exit Planet Dust
Animal Collective - Strawberry Jam

And I'm also the proud owner of a Wacom Intuos 4. I went with the small size since table space is limited, though I have to add calling it small doesn't do it justice. I will get a picture of my desk up here once I have cleaned it up.

All of my music ends up on my computer in flac and the cd's just ends up on the shelf collecting dust. The growing number of cds meant that the shelf space was getting less and less, so I decided to get me a DJ case for storage. Wasn't trouble free getting it though, first they sent me one that was locked and no key, then they sent me the wrong keys (in a freaking box I might add, meaning I had to go to the Pest Office to get it) then I had to return it and finally 20 days after initial purchase, I got a working case. I got one that fitted 300 cds thinking I would only fill it halfway up. I apparently have 285 cds, so looks like I'm going to need another case.

Jay-Z - The Blueprint
Band of Horses - Everything All The Time

Dirty Projectors - Bitte Orca
Justice - Cross
Sonic Youth - SYR 3

Radiohead - The Bends
U2 - Zooropa

Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique

Can't rule out that some of these are dupes. I lose track easily at these quantities. :)

I have hooked my precious SSD and got Windows 7 installed and activated on it. It sounds weird but I noticed a slight difference from the rtm edition. When choosing partitions it popped up with a notice saying that a seperate system partition has been created, which is a bit better then just creating it a top of my documents partition rendering the files inaccessible.

I thought I'd share the programs that I have running on this computer. They are all freeware (exlcuding CS4 of course) and they all do there job admirably.

7-zip
Audacity
Avira Antivir
Deamon Tools Lite
Exact Audio Copy
Foobar
GFI Backup 2009 Home Edition
Google Earth
HijackThis
ImgBurn
MalwareBytes
Mozilla Firefox
NexusFont
OpenOffice
Partition Wizard Home Edition
Picasa 3
Pidgin
Quicktime Alternative with Media Player Classic
Secundia
SuperAntiSpyware
VirtualDubMod

A few new things since last week.

5 cd's
Band of Horses - Cease to Begin
Lamb - What Sound
Wu-Tang Clan - 36 Chambers
Phoenix - It's Never Been Like That

and last but not least
Taxi Taxi! - Still Standing At Your Back Door
Was at a small concert and got this from one of the sisters (don't ask me which one :) )

and a little blue from the best movie studio in the world.

UP

Took a picture but the camera battery died, so that will have to wait.

Only difference is i can't have the same offers you guys have at US. Not everything is exported to Portugal, and sometimes i do need the portugueses subtitles. But hey, i have now the chance to buy the Terminator special edition (the one with terminator's head, can't remember the name now and i'm too lazy to search for it).

Why buy the Harry Potter Collection when there's still 1 (or 2) more to go?

Do as I, and wait for the complete complete collection.
