Try uninstalling them in device manager, reboot and let windows reinstall. If you are using IDE, be sure to check those in device manager, IDE/ATA ATAPI controllers, primary IDE channel, right click, properties, advanced settings and make sure that it is either Ultra DMA, DMA and not PIO.
