yep, Buy - Rip - Throw away the case. Physical music is dying. When a good DRM free online store comes along it will all be one step for me.

It's a good question
I can't speak for anyone else but i tend to rip all my music and put it on my HTPC and mp3 player. I just store the cases and original music cds out of the way rather than put them on display. I know a lot of my friends do the same so i guess that could be one of the reasons. Also there's not many high resolution music resources as far as i know which makes making them hard. That's my 2 cents anyway.
