Tried cutting examples and for some reason the blade doesn't always cut the first time or even second time sometimes ? Why is this ? I am putting as much pressure as possible on the paper but I don't have much weight to put on it being at only 115 pounds.

Maybe use a ruler alongside the rotary trimmer or razor blade.

Just tried a ruler but the thing moves around to much side to side where the cut doesn't come out straight. Thanks iCoty anyone else have any other tricks or tips to solve this problem ?

the odd thing about the wheel cutter is like Baz says - they are really cheap now. when my blade wore out and i needed a new one it was cheaper to buy the whole thing then the replacment cutter :lol2: :chin:

How do I get the sides lined up perfectly or as close as possible when cutting the paper with a trimmer? I tried some tests on some normal paper and noticed that it is difficult to get the slice straight.

Thanks how is this one CARL 12218 Bidex Professional Rotary Trimmer compared to the Professional Rotary Paper Trimmer with Ergonomic Handle, 12" CUIRT200 by Carl Manufacturing ? I was able to buy this one CARL 12218 Bidex Professional Rotary Trimmer for $54.99 from amazon directly with free 2 day shipping sense I have amazon prime. I was just wondering if it was worth getting the cheaper Professional Rotary Paper Trimmer with Ergonomic Handle, 12" CUIRT200 by Carl Manufacturing which does not have amazon prime at all ? I am willing to pay shipping but it seems to have only the option for standard shipping so who knows how long it will take to get here. No big deal really but is the Professional Rotary Paper Trimmer with Ergonomic Handle, 12" CUIRT200 by Carl Manufacturing any better than the
