Actually, 296 is the new single game rushing record for any NFL game, period. The previous record was 295 by Jamal Lewis. He was two yards shy with about 60 seconds left in the game, and Coach Childress put him back in just so he could get the record.
I actually missed the Colts-Pats game, I wished I could have seen it, I'll bet it was good. My kids were up from their nap at that point and don't let Dad get away with football for hours on end. Can't wait until my son is old enough to enjoy the games...then watching football will be classified as "quality time".
