I've been trying to the text to shape and I can't get it to work i'm using photoshop CS5

Perhaps I'm daft, but that doesn't work for me. The Text ignores the borders of the text.

Can you please explain more fully?

Draw the shape/path with the pen tool > select the type tool and click inside the path.

How can i give some shape to the text...? (photoshop cs2)for synoposis on the back. for example.. like a triangle form.
