Wow, that's a huge collection Roy! I hope you have insurance for those, lol

I'm with you guys. I still get hard copies from time to time when the price is right (mostly BR). We also have a ton of libraries all over Canada that have a huge collection of DVD and BR to borrow from at no cost. Although... I have to admit, I do like my Netflix and Prime, lol

Same here, physical media is the best way to entertain with the hole thing (choose on a shelf is so good)
Just before the coming of the dvd format, i had a rent VHS store.
Best years of my life.
So choose on a shelf, i know what it is :p
 to keep old tradition alive.

The thing is, nothing will beat looking at a shelf of custom art work :)

Hi everyone!

I’m currently swimming against the tide: While the rest of the world is streaming, I’m busy burning classic cartoons onto Blu-ray for my son. I want to intentionally keep him away from the 'streaming madness' for as long as possible.
You keep reading that physical media is dead – but it’s great to see that there are still a few nostalgics like me out there! I’m curious: Are there any other parents here who consciously choose 'offline' media, or have I become a complete outlier with this project?
