The Advanced Designer and Cover Designer groups are too nice -- where are all of the boisterous "I'm going to be the next Master Designer!!!" posts? :banrock:

They're such a talented bunch, and that's a great broad range of titles to choose from, here's hoping everyone gets a chance to enter and showcase what they can do.

You could always narrow down your search by using the IMDB advanced search. You can shoose a genre for example, as well as date range, to narrow down your choices.

To all Cover and Advanced designers

The theme for Kernies Master Designer Invitational is 'Titles released since HiResCovers opened in 2006'. Here is a link to movies listed on IMDB, that were released between 2006 and now. You can create a DVD or Bluray cover for any movie or TV series made since 2006. And the more creative your work is, the better you will score.

You have 4 weeks to show us what you can do, and win a deserved promotion to Master Designer,

Here are the rules

Kernies Master Designer Invitational

• The competition is open to all Cover and Advanced Designers

• A theme will be chosen by the site staff and sent to the entrants on July 10th

• Competitors will have 4 weeks to create a single DVD or Bluray cover, and email it to [email protected]. Entries must have been received by 23.59 GMT August 7th

• Entries will then be anonymously sent to Kernie, who will have one week to judge the entries based on four categories (Originality/Quality/Skill/Effort). Previews of the entries will be posted to the forums

• The highest score on Kernies scorecard will be promoted to Master Designer.

Standard HiResCovers competition rules apply. Covers must be the sole work of the designer and not shared with any other person or website until after the competition. If you have any questions, then please send me a PM.
