Also, 100% black may utilize a different ink cartridge on some printers, which can result in blotchy patches or bleed.

I have found over the years that harsh blacks and whites often create too much contrast depending on the color palette of the art, meaning on texts or titles primarily I find it best to reduce that effect, this was something pointed out to me many, many years ago by a good friend.

The idea is to dial down 100% white or 100% Black on those items by a few percentage points, one could also reduce their opacity ever so slightly or add a very slight tint, texture or gradient to them so they are less stark and harsh.

The effect is subtle but that is the intent :D

Your eye is the best judge of these things, thus it is best to just try and see.
