King Kong was a textbook competition-winning cover, really well done, with a lot of hard work on display... but, with a lot of familiarity, many small mistakes, etc.
Although "big" won the round, I think the scores prove that each designer's style is on fairly equal footing. If bpmford had just a little more structure in his cover or M0vieM0nster had just a little more self-assuredness in his, they could've taken this one by surprise.
The entry I came up with as a seat-filler in case Darren only received seven probably would've hit around M0vieM0nster at 4th-5th (
