Like the idea about the maze....I can still add the sky background in, but also like just the maze showing through.
Trying some ideas on the back also.

Here's an idea. Basically using the same poster you are already using too.
Maybe take the maze part, and just run a simple overlay, below the shadows.
Something like this maybe??

I think this could definitely work but I think the green needs something overlayed on it like the first one has clouds in the distance, maybe try and bring through some of the rocks behind the people?
