We all have to start somewhere, when I first joined HiRes, I knew minimal stuff about Photoshop or Illustrator now I know my way round like the back of my hand but I'm still nowhere near on the level as some of the designers on here but we're all always learning :)

Keep going and you'll get better and better.

Yes. It is cut. I have the blu ray so I've been working with images from the net I dunno why. I'll just print some screens with HQ. I'll have to put this project on hold though. Have to continue my work on my phd. if anyone wants to take on the task of continuing this would be great. i could provide the HQ images directly from the blu ray. As I still(and maybe never will) control photoshop with total ease it would detract me from my studies.


But it's on hold. Thanks for the suggestions. get back to this a little at a time.

Alienmem, please make sure you resize your images before uploading to the W.I.P.

The grass looks a lot better now, the image on the back is low-res and is cuts off on the right so you may need to rebuild that bag or find a different image to use?

I actually redid the grass last morning. 3 am or something. But didn't get much further tahn that. Just cleaned the image with sara's a$ uncovered...put in some divides and ideas.

The quality is low Kylumi? It's tricky to fix?

Here's what I have. grass was fixed..the blues were homogenized.

BTW don't be fooled by the image. i saved in in low quality...everything looks fine in the PSD

The "fan-art" poster quality is not to good to begin with.....basically it leaves you a lot of work to do before you can make it look half decent for your cover creation.

Due to colour variation of the grass and the small amount of work-space open to you, cloning is not a good option.
However, you can erase all the grass and blue from the BG of the image (and make quite a good job of it) in about 30/40 mins. Then just replace it with a perspectively scaled grass image which can be found on the interweb (as Venome did for you).

I made an example for you too see the difference between your cloned version and my replaced an image version

However, as I previously stated the "fan art" poster is pretty poor quality....and you have a tricky job in front of you :eek:
