Maybe that will help?

Thanks guys, I have learned so much already from you guys during the making of this single cover!

I will see how 75% looks, and maybe leave the moon at 50% :)

You are right about Cobblepot but I can't find a good image of him that goes well with the other stills. If I can't find anything I'll probably leave it like this.

by sauron » Thu Mar 05, 2015 8:22 pm

I prefer version 1, I know the moon looses details but everything else pops more. I agree somewhat with Cirus about Penguin which I know he does play a pretty big part but then you could argue saying Falcone and Moroni should be on as well, which would obviously be too much.

by venome » Thu Mar 05, 2015 6:39 pm

Agreed and v2 looks best to me.

by Cirus » Thu Mar 05, 2015 2:02 pm

I think version 2 is better.
I have one more problem, one thing is still missing: The Penguin. Maybe you can replace the still picture with Nygma to a picture from Cobblepot. I think he's more important character.

I think it had something to do with my screen :) any way I have tried your suggestion for curves adjustment.

Duplicated the cover as a new layer, applied the adjustments on this new layer.
Made 2 versions. Is this better, and if so witch one is the better one?

(Edit: and I also redid the skin on Fish, am I getting closer now?) :)

Version 1 = New layer at 100% (perhaps a bit too bright on my screen, especially when you look at the moon)

Version 2 = New layer at 50%

It's better but I think you need to use a curves adjustment to make everything pop a bit more... Something like the below

by Bozzy » Wed Mar 04, 2015 7:47 pm

Is this better for the color?

Fidi I will look at your suggestions next :D thanks!

It's getting there, nice update again!

Agree with sauron about the adjustments.
And compare Fish on your screenshot and the big image of her - hair & dress look similar but it's a big difference betwenn er skins.
Add some red on the big image, increase the saturation a bit and use a curves layer to darken her a bit. That should do it.

Look much better now but I still think you need to adjust the brightness, colours etc... check back to xshoty's post on page 2... post number 16.
