If you are not trying to become a great cover designer why are your starting wips? I assume from your words that you are here just to grab what we did, then use our work, cut the parts you like and add the uk logos like you did with Bunny Dojo "Days of Thunder" cover. Am i wrong?
I for one would like a simple answer to that first question as that will make deciding on whether to offer up suggestions in your WIP's is the correct thing to even do.
Does it have to be so black & white? So them & us? This is a cover replacement site remember. Subscription is where the income comes from to run it all. People like me come here to download great covers and use them in their own collections. Before I came here I had difficulty finding good covers so made some myself. I don't really want to do that if I can help it. Does that make sense? But I only want UK covers so I tinker with them. Is that OK? I found this site and joined so I could design less, not more; to save me having to design stuff myself. I have the odd good idea and like things a particular way but I'm not particularly advanced and have no particular desire to be.
Don't think I don't listen and take in your comments. I'd like your advice and help with my questions. I think my query was either not read or not understood, but I don't think all this hostility is appropriate. If I do the wrong thing, can you show me without beating me? And I don't mean be gentle (be as brutal as you like) I mean be constructive and help me ask the right questions.

The problem is no one can help you as they don't really know what your trying to do, it's up to you to make that part very clear, so everyone can help guide you in the proper direction and you in my opinion have failed at doing that so far.
Too right, I didn't get my point across at all did I? But in my defence, some of you didn't read it anyway.

I wanted to know what you didn't like and what I got was - none of it! How do I learn from that?

QUOTE stick by the rules, we all abide by them
Great to see Baz now amended rule 4 of the upload rules; but whereas it now reads "Do not download a cover and make slight changes to it, unless you have had permission from the original creator". Previously it read "Do not download a cover and make slight changes to it, without giving credit to the original creator". I was following the rules!
