Thx for your comments, yes it's since i'm using Ps CC. With Corel DRAW i didn't had the problem. Everytime i choose borderless printing.
Ok than i would do it like you with 98,5%.

Thx fellows ;)

To print 3240 X 2175 covers on our 8 1/2" X 11" paper I use borderless printing, with minimum expansion, and set PS to 98.5%. This allows me to print closer to the edge of the paper than the printer margins normally allow. The same 98.5% sounds like you're also using borderless printing and I suspect spacebug is as well.

by Fidi » Thu Jul 10, 2014 7:41 pm

I even can't find this option...

But for me it's no problem. When I print out my covers with 98,5% of it's original size everything is fine.
I just posted because spacebug has the same problem. What ever the problem might be. :D

Any chance you have borderless printing turned on?????

by Fidi » Thu Jul 10, 2014 5:36 pm

I have the same problem since I'm using PS CC. I've changed the size into 98,5% (but german cover-size 3172x1760px).

by Spacebug » Thu Jul 10, 2014 5:27 pm

Hi again. I think i solved the color problem, but now i have another problem.
If you print a cover from here with 3173x1762 pixels, does it fit in the bluray case? Since my new printer it is too big!
I know i can change the size at the printer settings in PS, either in percent or the size directly.

How do you do do get a perfect size cover print?

You don't neccesarily need to buy a new montitor - if you purchase a tool to calibrate your monitor then it should display perfectly on your screen and then should match what you print.

Do you have any other monitors or possibly one you could borrow from a friend to check if it is the colours on the monitor?

by bluesnow » Tue Apr 29, 2014 5:07 pm

If your monitor is a decent one then maybe you only need to make some adjustments. Have a look at this article for some on-line help.

This is in your on-line manual . . .

  1. Open the printer driver setup window
  2. Select the manual color adjustment

On the Main tab, select Manual for Color/Intensity, and click Set....

The Manual Color Adjustment dialog box opens.
  3. Select color correction

Click Matching tab, select Color Correction setting that matches your purpose from the following, and click OK.

Driver Matching With Canon Digital Photo Color, you can print sRGB data with color tints that most people prefer.

ICM (ICC Profile Matching) Adjusts the colors by using an ICC profile when printing.
Specify the input profile or rendering intent to be used.

None The printer driver does not perform color correction. Select this value when you are specifying an individually created printing ICC profile or a printing ICC profile for special Canon paper in an application software to print data.

Hi again, now i have a new one...it's a canon MG 6350.

It's better with it, but i don't know if i select color managment by ps how to turn off it in the printer's settings yet.

Could you help me one more time...

I already think the mistake is with my screen...think i have to buy a new one!
