Thanks, Tim... but my Cabin in the Woods is nowhere close to even being in the same league as SXS's Avatar. That masterpiece is pretty much in a class of its own. :D :D :D

Much like SXS's Avatar, this design is more than "just" a custom cover. Your enthusiasm for the movie is easy to spot, and that combination of talent and enthusiasm can produce some pretty exciting results. :)

Thank you all for the kind words and compliments. I'm not quite sure what to say, and my words typically come out wrong, so here goes...

To say that I am surprised by the results would be an understatement. While I was satisfied with my Cabin in the Woods cover and label when I made them last January, I never expected them to be remembered when it came time for C/LotY, much less win a dual victory.

2013 was an incredible year for cover design here at HiRes. Amazing talent like Cirus and xshoty arrived on the scene and seasoned veterans like Zungam, Matush, wessim, Bunny Dojo, JollyRoger, and venome (among many, many others who I apologize for not naming) took their skills and craft to spectacular new levels. So many outstanding designs were created last year that I am still in shock that Cabin was nominated in the face of such impressive and inspiring work.

Thank you to everyone who supported these designs, I did not expect this at all. I feel unworthy of the honor, but I am truly grateful to be a part of the wonderful HiRes community.
