i see what you mean Bluesnow.i've compared your sample to my scan and yours is a lot clearer and less pixelated.I really appreciate the helpful hints and tips you and Mr Henry Dog (he pm'd me) have given me about better scanning.

Thank you Bazzah for the upgrade to contributor.like i say i've got loads of covers to re work with so i'll get them sorted asap. :D

Sure thing. I've played a bit with Club Reps Series 1 and have a small sample. I took only 2 minutes to make quick adjustments to the whole cover. If I had made the scan myself I would have spent more time doing selective adjustments to different sections but if you compare this to the original you'll see what I meant.

cheers for the advise you guys i'm gonna start another thread asap.I know what you mean Bluesnow i've played around with one of the Flintstones covers (season 2) and taken out as much 'pixalation' as possible and added an amount of sharpening.I'll replace this cover in the gallery and if you could take a quick look at it when you get time i would really appreciate your valuable input..

Lynne, I only looked at two. They could both use a small levels adjustment, a slight blur and then some sharpening.

If I remember correctly,Bluesnow is a seasoned scanner, whose advise is not to be taken lightly. :)

I think you will need to begin removing dust specks and pixelations, before I can vote yes. :(

You will be able to clone out most of your flaws, by simply use the Clone Tool in PS. Right-click on a clean source, and then with your left mouse button clone away. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it quickly and look forward to another prove yourself thread. :thumb:
