... mmmmm... update.... mmmm...

JK, looking forward to seeing what you have done with this!

Thanks guys - I was a contributor before but as I am busy with work and other design work I haven't got as much time to put into cover design. I am slowly getting back into it.

I am still after a hi-res image of the newspaper so I can get all the details of it. I want it to look almost similar to the one used in the film.

beric - I will add a price of it somewhere :)

I will make sure I make the barcode the same colour - haven't got round to do that yet, thanks for the heads up :)

I really like this idea sauron, and it's coming along beautifully. The paper texture looks great! :)

The barcode looks like it might be a bit more black than the text, you might match that to the front text and remove the white box behind it.

Very nice start so far but you know looking at how long you've been a member for, how many posts you have contributed with and you have also uploaded a fair amount of work i don't understand why you haven't at least been upgraded to a contributor status by now? Apply at least?

I was wondering if between the Los Angeles and the blue line you could put something about a Pulitzer Prize paper and a date? Something like " A Pulitzer Prize Winning Paper". My local paper, even tho it has been 3 years, has that as a byline on the front page. Oh, almost forgot. what is the price of the paper? :chin:

So why don't you just post for contributor you've got the talent I'd say go for it.

by sauron » Tue Feb 08, 2011 10:37 pm

I like the idea of the bits of green - I will try that when I have some spare time to carry on with this.

Thanks for the stills jazzy :) - but I can't get them as I'm not a contributor :/

I love the idea of the newspaper!

I know you want to keep the B&W newspaper feel.. so what if you added spots of green to it... or even just tinted the paper green a bit?

Uploaded stills and posters to gallery..
