My printing is dne at my local Kinkos, and it makes it really easy for me... but if that isn't an option, getting a printer is not that expensive, plus there are cheaper ink options than just store bought one!

Do you know if FedEx would be able to do it? There isn't a Kinkos near my home, but there is a FedEx about 10 miles away. I appreciate the input guys..just a poor college kid trying to figure out some options for printing...

I'd recommend the Canon Pixma series. I havetheMP610, andit's good :) (also includes copying and scanning options)

Alternatively if you dont wont to buy a printer how about putting the covers on a memory stick and taken it to your local 'Snappy Snaps'(or whichever photo printing shop is your local), they print at a low cost and on decent paper and ink :)

However buying your own printing would be the better choice. ;)

Kernie your wisdom shines through once again. Haha. Printer it is!

I'm not a rich man, but $40 (plus some paper and cheap recycled ink cartridges) doesn't seem like all that expensive to me. Especially since you'll be able to print whatever you want whenever you want and not have to pay for postage or rely upon someone else to do it for you.

Just out of curiosity, what would you consider a reasonable price to have someone print a bunch of covers for you? Even if you pay the person minimum wage per hour (for their time), an extra dollar or two for ink and paper, and factor in postage, you're probably looking at least $10 for each round of prints. And then what happens if you don't like the print (maybe because colors don't come out right or something), or if it gets folded/bent/damaged during shipment?

Seems like the $40 printer (plus ink and paper) is going to be quickly worth it for the added convenience of doing it yourself.

Sorry to sound like a jerk, and it's entirely up to you, but I think the printer is the more sensible solution...

Why would I try and make things simple? :chin: If no one is offering for cheaper than 40, then I will get the printer.

by yesheman » Sun Jan 16, 2011 11:30 pm

sounds like much work for some papers :P why don't you just buy a printer?

For $40 you can get an epson printer at wal-mart http://www.walmart.com/ip/Epson-Stylus-C11...-USB-P/13081129
