Post a prove yourself thread, i'm sure you'll be upgraded to contributor :)

by Fubster » Fri Dec 03, 2010 1:34 pm

I see you've contributed quite a bit here in the area of games. Have you considered proving yourself? Here is a link to the prove-yourself rules. Although it specifically covers proving yourself via the movie cover gallery, we have several contributors who only contribute game covers and labels. If you have any questions about how the rules might differ for game content, feel free to send me a PM.

My point, of course, is that if you are a contributor, you WILL have full access to our resources gallery.

The art of finding hi-res images. First off, please state which movie you intend to begin with. It's alot easier when you're looking for something specific.

Google is your best option, the image search can in some cases find you some publicity material.
IMDB is also a great help. First, IMDB has a external photograph link section, which now and then can provide some good stuff.
Second you should check the production and distribution companies at IMDB and google them. Often you'll find hi-res publicity material at their sites which doesn't require a press login.

Search this site for the link collection. Somewhere in here there's a thread containing hi-res links.

I want to hop into the art of making DVD and Blu-ray covers, and not just game covers.

However, when it comes to finding resources for films, I'm lost.

Where should I look if I don't have access to the resources here?
