My Favorite Cover Designer: All HiRes designers
What a competition. We have yet another name to add to the HRC winners this, so far this year. Fending off eight amazing custom cover entries, this month's HiResChallenge award goes to Pytlaczek, for his brilliant cover for Footloose 2011. It was another close battle too, with Bunny Dojo' incredible entry for Metropolis (1927) to take the title. Congratulations Pyt, and congratulations to everyone else for making the competition so interesting with their awesome entries.

Hello, I admire your work on this cover. Perhaps a short tutorial to show you how you did it, in addition to cutting out the characters, please. What did you use on the front to create your background? Thank you and congratulations again on this excellent custom. Didier

Didier - apart from the cut-out figures, there are only brushes in various blending modes on the front. I didn't use anything complicated here. It all just sort of fell into place nicely...
