Well, since I'm still identified as a newbie - probably because I don't have too much posts or participation here - I'm just trying to prove myself - 3 years making covers, some time away from the hobby but I'm back since last month and, actually, working on more than 15 covers - yes, when I have an idea I start a new one, and just wait to finish if some good idea don't appears in my mind ( unfinished covers: Remember the Titans, Apocalypse Now, Mission Impossible III, X-Men 3 - The Last Stand, Ghostbusters, Evil Dead Trilogy, Brotherhood of the Wolf, King Arthur, Alien Quadrilogy, Blade Runner, The Nightmare Collection, Timeline, Deep Impact, Back to the Future Trilogy, Chaplin ( 1992 ), Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Rome - Season 1 and 2 and Innerspace )
I don't have a style - I believe a good covermaker don't need to have a style, but to feel the movie and put talent into the artwork. Better than just use the artwork, is to create a new one or transform the existing one. recreate posters using stock images, as I did with Legends of The Fall, From Hell, Apocalypto, 300, The Abyss... or even colorizing monocromatic images, as I did in Val Helsing's back cover ( working on another cover eith this technique right now ) that's what I like to do ( even, people know me creating covers for 80's nostalgic films without much hi-res resources, and I'm not a big fan of covers series, since I like to create new styles for every new cover ).
