General Rules

1. Make sure you have read the individual rules for each section. There are additional rules for uploads, requests etc.

2. Promoting or posting external links for the purpose of advertising anything or in reference to other cover sites is strictly forbidden.

3. Don't use image hosts and external links for preview images, upload all images to this site using the attachment feature in the forum or upload them to one of the HiresCovers galleries if appropriate only.

4. Respect the other members. Flaming and/or arguing will not be tolerated. If you have an issue with another member, contact the member directly and not publicly in the forums. If you are unable to resolve said issue for any reason, then message a site administrator. Public disputes will be deleted if we feel they are inappropriate.

5. General trolling will not be tolerated, and depending on the subject matter could result in a site ban. This can include political and religious opinions that we deem to be inappropriate and/or antagonistic.

6. We are a movie cover replacement site. We do not condone, or encourage piracy in any way. Discussions of piracy may lead to a permanent ban. By downloading a cover/label you are agreeing to the fact that you have purchased the original movie.

7. Spamming will not be tolerated. Do not post the same thing several times over the forum.

8. One membership per person is permitted. If you are found to share an account, you may be banned.

9. You must post in English. This is due to the fact that 99% of the members here speak English.

10. You may not upload ANY art work to another site, that you have downloaded from hirescovers.net, without the express permission of the original creator. Doing so will lead to a site ban. You also may not sell any artwork for monetary gain.

11. You may not exchange any art work from the site with any other members, or non members, privately. Doing so will also lead to a site ban. If you want to share a particular piece of art work, then please upload to the appropriate gallery.

12. You may only download from the gallery any direct solicitation of artwork from members or by members is not allowed and may result in your account being banned.

13. The shoutbox is only for general conversation. Members using the shoutbox for requests and/or spam (including advertising websites) will be banned from using the shoutbox. (At admin's discretion) Requests will only be answered if posted in the appropriate request area of the forum. All 'shouts' deemed inappropriate will be removed. Each shout may contain no more than 20 animated .gifs.

14. While the access to advanced site content is unlimited, this does not mean you can abuse your access. Members are not allowed to download excessively, and unnecessarily, all site content. Excessive downloading is defined as 100 items per day, 200 per week, or 600 per month. If you hit one of these limits, your account will be limited until the time period is over.

15. Personal signatures should be a maximum of 800 x 200 pixels. Anything larger will be removed.

16. Admin reserve the right to restrict/suspend/ban any account, if we consider it necessary for the best interests of the site and it's members.

17. Once advanced content has been downloaded, you will not be eligible for any refunds, in partial or full

Forum etiquette.

We want to provide a friendly environment here at Hirescovers and to facilitate that we ask that all be respectful when making comments about errors or other corrections in the gallery or in the forum as follows

1. In WIP threads critiques are asked for and should be given in a nice helpful way.

2. In all other areas of the forum and/gallery please refrain from making critiques unless the poster specifically asks for feedback.

3. If errors are found on items posted in the Forum or the Gallery you can notify the poster via PM so they can correct it and update or you may contact a staff member to report it and they will handle it, also via a PM.

"Content" is all material posted, uploaded, attached or otherwise submitted to the site, this includes but is not limited to files, images, archives, videos and comments or other text.

While the administrators and moderators of this website will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable content as quickly as possible based on site guidelines for posting -- it is however impossible to review every message posted. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the post author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence “HiResCovers” will not be held liable.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other content that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “HiResCovers” is hosted or International Law. Doing so will lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “HiResCovers” has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “HiResCovers” nor IPB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

This is a Alternative Custom Cover Art related site, there will be NO discussions of Illegal Activities including but not limited to Movie Piracy, Torrenting, Downloading or Warez, even mentioning these topics is strictly forbidden and will get you a warning -- any active promotion will get you banned without further notice.

Content provided on this site is for the original downloaders PERSONAL use only. This means you MAY NOT upload or share any content you have Downloaded from this site to any other site/person for any reason, without prior written consent from “HiResCovers”. Failure to comply with this rule will result in an immediate ban and forfeiture of any remaining subscription time--you have been warned.

1. All Content you submit or upload may be reviewed by staff members. All Content you submit or upload may be sent to third-party verification services (including, but not limited to, spam prevention services). Do not submit any Content that you consider to be private or confidential.

2. By posting Content here, you are granting us a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, backup, restore, retain, publish or re-publish that Content in any way we deem fit and necessary also you affirm that we may grant access to said content at any time to any members of this site. You may retain copyright over the Content if you have a legal right to do so, we however will not protect or defend your copyright and we will not be held liable for any misuse of said Content by others.

3. Requests for Content to be REMOVED will be undertaken solely at our discretion and we may well decline to do so (see #2 above), repeated requests that have previously been declined can lead to your account being banned.
