Squid Game (2024) Season Two 6/10 I had high hopes for this, as I really enjoyed the first series. But I felt it was lacking. For me, the enjoyment of season one came from the games they played, and seeing who was going to survive. But season two is much more focused on character stories, which left me feeling disappointed. Season one was great, season two is just OK.

I also had high hopes for season 2, but they change the direction of the show. It was slow to start and when the games finally began, they had to ruin it in the last couple episodes. A totally screwed up ending, although a season 3 is apparently coming soon (so they say). After watching the last episode, my rating was around 3/10, lol - Your 6/10 is probably more accurate.
I think i'm the only person on earth not having appreciated this TV show at all. My daughter loved the first season but was disappointed by the 2nd. So...

Gladiator II (2024) 4/10 - Might rating might be a little harsh, but they had the perfect story to tell, but they didn't do it very well imo. Sorry for ranting, but it should and could have been a lot better.
Same opinion. I was expecting something as strong as the first (which I rewatched before the 2nd, to put everything back in place) and ultimately, yes it's a good film, taken apart from the first. But not a worthy sequel, worthy of the first opus. Predictable scenario, sometimes ridiculous lines and some actors who overplay to live up to Denzel and Pedro... In short, a little disappointment, probably because the level expected from me was too high.
So... For me, last episode last night of "The day of the Jackal". One word: WOW... Exceptional. even if in some ways, the writers took several liberties with the book, the series is explosive, intense, sometimes annoying (but on the good side of the word), breathtaking and this last episode clearly announces a season 2 but no spoilers, promise . The 4 main actors are fair, in their places and screaming the truth. Bravo for this casting already. If you haven't seen it yet, run through it. 10 very very good episode, but remember, this is mu own opinion

Even though I watch everything that Denzel do, I'm not a gladiator kind of person, so I had practically no intention of viewing this movie. Now it's pretty clear that I will never see it.

I don't think you can go wrong, if Taylor Sheridan has written the show. The three shows you mentioned are all great programs. And I more or less agree with your scores.
I still have one episode remaining of Landman, but I am already looking forward to season two.
On a side note, did you realise that this is Taylor Sheridan? I had no idea until last week.

Thanks for this Ripley. I started watching The Day of the Jackal last night and it is pretty good
You're Welcome. And yes, i have read that on variety in think (Taylor Sheridan) and despite the fact i was never a huge fan pf BBT, i must admit that landman IS the show i wait with great expectations every week. The Jackal was available here totally so i could watch it in 2 nights. Landman, for sure is a 9/10, and not because Ali Larter expose very well her esthetic surgery. I have even make a comparison with Resident Evil and Landman. Clearly, a little plastic was added to the upper body.
And so, Lioness.... Season 2 much much better than the first. IMO

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) 8/10 - An excellent addition to the franchise. In this one we get to learn a lot about Rocket and his background. It had some emotional moments that one could really feel and as always a lot of great and fun moments. I would strongly recommend anyone to give it a watch, at least if you've watched any of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and liked them. If you've never watched any of them, then you're really in for a treat and I recommend you watch all of them. I'm one of the few guys in the world that has never watched Star Wars (and probably never will), it just isn't my type of film, so I was very skeptic when I watched the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but my oh my I was in for a great surprise, turned out to be one of the best movies I'd seen in a long time.

GOTG is one of my favourite franchise of films, so I was really disappointed that this was the last one. All three are genius and tick all the right boxes for me. Sci-fi, action, sarcastic humour. If Drax doesn't make you laugh, there is something wrong with your sense of humour
