JR, I really love your cover for “True Grit”, wow. You need to move into the house with the Mac, seriously! Lol

Kev, well those first covers just simply made me laugh, sorry my friend, lol – And also, without a doubt, I love your Disney covers, always did! I love everything you do, but these are my favorites. I think you should be promoted to a level more than a simple “Cover Designer”. Just throwing it out there…

Clint is the one that surprised me the most when I saw the cover that he did with Wys “The Croods”. Love that cover! You have talent that I didn’t know before.

And finally, Baz. I think you have just as much talent as my mentor. Hope he doesn’t see this post, lol

This is my cover for “The Walking Dead – Season 11” that I did as a request here. Like I said, nothing to brag about, but I made it with love, lol

I also did all 3 seasons of “Deadwood” as a request at EFX which came out good.

And finally, this was the last cover that I posted yesterday.

Thanks for the praise! Warmed me old bones! Don’t let Darren hear such praise tho, his head would explode! LOL

The Deadwood cover is really strong, if the rest of your covers are as good, they're a treat to any site! I hope you made a cover for the follow up movie as well?

Hadn’t seen your first cover before, and am not surprised that I didn’t catch your Joker cover, since my visits have been … less frequent the last couple of years. Strong design tho. I remember a back you made for a collab cover we did years ago. Your ideas are still strong, and shows in the recent work. I enjoyed looking through your collab with wys; most excellent design, the both of you!

@ Bazzah: I remeber the time when you did your Avengers and Fast and the Furious cover. Both turned out great and I#d also consider them as my favorite covers of yours.

I have deleted nearly all my covers I made before I got a member here. The oldest one here in the gallery ist Blood Diamond which I think I did around 2012. I can't find the PSD file anymore but I remember I was pretty happy when I go it done. If I'm not wrong it was a bigger step in quality from the covers I made before to this one:

My latest wasn't too long ago:

When it comes to what I consider my best I can't decide between Ready Player One (made in March this year) and Zodiac (November 2022). Both covers took me about 80 - 100 hours of work in Photoshop to get them done.

When I look at a finished cover a few weeks later I normally find a few points I'd do different - but nine months later I still wouldn't change anything on my Ready Player One. I'm still totally satisfied with the result.

For Zodiac I didn't use any filters and got the sketch effect by painting everything by myself. I remember the hours I spend to to put together all the characters (changing eyes, hairs etc.) and build all the little scenes on the front by extending a screenshot (bottom left) or build the scene from random images (all others).

Thank you as well, Pam. I think having great artists gives all of us the means to be better. I would love to see Sub's first designs. Last but not least, Curt has been one of my best friends and a huge influence. Learning text in a path and introducing me to Topaz was a huge part of my progression. Cheers to Curt and Pam.

Bazz, the man, the myth, the owner, thank you for creating this wonderful place. I'm here to stay.

Fidi, your work is some of the best I have ever seen. Amazing talent!!! Keep up the great work. Looking forward to seeing your next masterpiece.

Great idea for a thread here

Well, I know exactly, when I started to create cover 8 years ago.

I didn´t even know, what a psd.file is, so I really had to learn EVERYTHING.

The result of my first W.I.P. was

but it has nothing to do with my first creation. "Creation" comes from "Creature", right? I really created a terrifying monster back then, but it didn't last long.

In the beginning I was fascinated by posters. "Meeting" more and more great designers at the different forums, I became enthusiastic about making more elaborate covers myself.

It´s hard to choose the best cover, I´ve ever made, but BATMAN RETURNS was a lot of work and it´s definitely one of my favorites.

Every designer here is an inspiration to me. That's why I'm very proud that my most recently published cover (German Version) even became cover of the month last year.

Unfortunately, more and more forums are closed and I often don't have the time for new artworks, but I hope that this site will stay here for a long time and I can contribute to it some times.

Finally, I would also like to all designers and also the site operators for their commitment. You all are doing a fantastic job.

Fidi, it’s quite obvious why you are part of the Master Designer group. Of all the covers you presented here, I really, really like Zodiac. That’s an impressive cover!

Rip, I already knew of your talent because of what you shared at EFX. Your oldest cover looks really good. How is this possible? Lol

@MM, great first cover, very impressive for a first Excellent work on your latest cover as well It's very hard only picking one favorite when there's so many fantastic covers to choose from. The collaboration you did with wys on Croods is very impressive. I also wanna shout out these:

The front design and the idea of all the elements on this one is stunning. Brilliant work buddy.

I really love the colors in this one and also how brilliant the lens flare fits in.

@chouette, yet another great first cover, I think some of us might have started uploading a little too early compared to you guys .
Very nice work on the Deadwood one, it looks clean and the background fits well with the front
You always seem to do such brilliant work making the colors really fit the covers you're making, like 13 Reasons Why, Ozark and so on.
Same goes for The Christmas Chronicles which is one of my favorite covers from you

@Fidi, Wow, even one of your very first covers look good (No Strings Attached), it's easy to see why your work always seem to be on a higher level than most, really stunning work for an early cover!
Your latest (like all your covers really) speaks for it self, truly stunning work.
Choosing only one favorite Fidi cover might be the impossible task, but I really like these.

Your Batman Returns cover is a stunning piece of work, same goes for your Harry Potter collection, such excellent and unique design. I also wanna shed some light on these as I think these are two brilliant covers as well.
