It's amazing how this movie can feel so old for a stretch, and then suddenly a shot lines up with The Fifth Element or Blade Runner or Andor. Watching it felt a bit like doing homework, but there are some truly impressive pieces that hold up really well a century later.

Another astonishing creation with a very very old movie. Piece of collection though. What a front... Don't be mad at me, the back is also extraordinary, but that front.... Wow... Colors, style, creation... I love it. for this 2nd place Tim

Only you can make a cover design for such an old movie look so good! - You came so close to that first place, but second is still awesome! Heck, you even beat Wrenchie Poo!

lol, it does look like c3po's mum
Superb work Tim. You make it look straight forward, with showing that you only used two images for the front. But it is way more complicated than that. As usual, you have worked wonders with these images, and created another extremely professional looking cover. Well done on 2nd place

Stunning cover. Love the way you had shaped and created the front. I find your work inspirational and it gives me the incentive to try and go further with design work. Thank you Tim.

Right Bazz!. I thought this was a new Star Wars film at first glance. Well done. This cover looks awesome.

Also amazing to see C-3PO's mother starring in a movie! I didn't even know he had a mother, let alone she also had a career as a movie star!
In 1927, this would be C-3PO's grandma.

At 36 2nd Place finishes in the HiResChallenge, I'm counting on you in the event of my untimely demise to rename 2nd Place "Tim's Place".

Sublime work Tim! Admittedly I've never seen this movie, but your cover certainly makes me wanna watch it now.
1939 is probably my cutoff for when movies start to be fun to watch, but a few of these earlier ones are insane in what they were able to achieve and the level of influence they've had. There's another one called Wings from the same year, where the action is pretty mild by today's standards, until you remember they were having actual massive airplane battles for the filming.
