| Question: How Do I login? |
Answer: Go to "Login", submit your username and password and check "Remember Me" so you will be logged in on the site if you should leave it.
IMPORTANT:Cookies must be enabled and the cookie from this site must not be deleted in order to use "Remember Me".

| Question: Why can I not login? |
Answer: Did you register and click the link that was sent to you via email?. The link will activate your account. For other login problems contact the site administrator.

| Question: What if I forgot my password? |
Answer: Please visit your User Control Panel in the forums, and select the Change Password. link

| Question: What are cookies? |
Answer: Cookies are a plain text piece of data that is sent from a website and is put on to your computer.
Cookies usually allow a user to leave and return to the site without having to login again and other various chores.

Cover Gallery FAQ |
| Question: All of the images have a watermark on them, why? |
Answer: The intermediate images are all watermarked, as these are just a preview image. To download the full version, left click on the watermarked image, and a new window will open with the full sized image. Full sized images are very large, so depending on your internet connection, may take a while to download. Once the image has finished downloading, right click on the image, and select 'Save As'

| Question: I have already paid, but I keep being taken to a payment page, and can not download the full sized images, why? |
Answer: Please firstly make sure you are logged in. You must be logged in, so that you can be identified as an existing advanced member. If you are logged in, please check you are in one of the advanced groups. Member/guest/validating/banned groups do not have access to the gallery images. If you are not in an advanced group, but should be, please contact an administrator.

| Question: Why doesn't a new window open with my full sized image? |
Answer: The most probably cause of this, is pop up blocking software, preventing a new window from opening. Please try adding www.hirescovers.net to your list of trusted sites. Please refer to the creators of your pop up blocking software for more information.

| Question: Why do all of the images have a red x, instead of the image? |
Answer: Please check your firewall is not preventing images from displaying. Try adding www.hirescovers.net to your list of trusted sites. Please refer to the creators of your firewall software for more information.

| Question: How do I save a picture to "My Favorites"? |
Answer: Click on a picture and click on the "picture info" link ( ); scroll down to the picture information set and click "Add to fav".
The administrator may have the "picture information" on by default.

| Question: How do I rate a file? |
Answer: Click on a thumbnail and go to the bottom and choose a rating. You may only do this if you have left a comment.

| Question: How do I post a comment for a picture? |
Answer: Click on a thumbnail and go to the bottom and post a comment.

| Question: How do I upload a file? |
Answer: Go to Upload Cover. and select the album that you want to upload to. Click "Browse," find the file to upload, and click "open." Add a title and description if you want. Click "Submit".
Alternatively, for those users using Windows XP, you can upload multiple files directly to your own private albums using the XP Publishing wizard.

| Question: I have successfully uploaded, but I can not see my image, why? |
Answer: Unless you are in a designer group, all uploads have to be approved by a moderator. Please leave at least 24 hours before contacting a member of staff.

| Question: My upload was rejected, how should I replace it? |
Answer: Please read carefully the reasons for rejection. Once you have modified your image, upload it to the gallery as before. A moderator will then approve it for you. Please notify a moderator to have your rejected upload removed.

| Question: What type and size of a file can I upload? |
Answer: Please make sure your cover or label is in jpg format, and saved as RGB, not CMYK. CMYK files will not display. All uploads are restricted to 10mb.

| Question: What resolution should my upload be? |
Answer: All images must be 300dpi,

| Question: What's "Album List"? |
Answer: This will show you the entire category you are currently in, with a link to each album. If you are not in a category, it will show you the entire gallery with a link to each category. Thumbnails may be a link to the category.

| Question: What's "Last Uploads"? |
Answer: This feature shows the last uploads to the site.
|
| Question: What's "Last Comments"? |
Answer: This feature shows the last comments along with the files posted by users.
|
| Question: What's "Most Viewed"? |
Answer: This feature shows the most viewed files by all users (whether logged in or not).
|
| Question: What's "Top Rated"? |
Answer: This feature shows the top rated files rated by the users, showing the average rating (e.g: five users each gave a  : the file would have an average rating of ;Five users rated the file from 1 to 5 (1,2,3,4,5) would result in an average .)
The ratings go from  (best) to  (worst).

| Question: What's "My Favorites"? |
Answer: This feature will let a user store a favorite file in the cookie that was sent to your computer.

Payment FAQ |
| Question: How much is a subscription, and what do I get? |
Answer: 1 years subscription is 12 EU or 9GBP. For this, you will receive full unlimited access to the gallery, and the arcade.

| Question: Why do I have to pay a subscription? |
Answer: There has been many debates regarding this. We used to run on donations, but the site was growing so fast, the donations were not covering the server costs. It was either charge a subscription, or close the site down.

| Question: Why do you charge using EU dollars? |
Answer: We mainly use EU dollars as it generally has the lowest conversion rate.
|
| Question: How long will I have to wait for my membership to be upgraded, after I have paid? |
Answer: If you create a subscription, then your membership will be automatically upgraded, instantly. If you make a single payment, you will have to wait until notification of payment from PayPal or Google Checkout has been received. Your membership will then be upgraded manually (usually within 24 hours). If you pay via post, then you will have to wait until payment has been received, and cleared.

| Question: I do not have a credit card, and therefore can not subscribe. How can I pay via PayPal? |
Answer: Subscriptions are automatically renewed
every year, and therefore require a credit card. If you would like to pay using PayPal, but do not have a credit card, please use the single payment method, via the payment page. Please note: Please make sure you are logged in when making a payment, or we will not know it is you that has made the payment.

| Question: I cancelled my credit card and/or my subscription renewal, and now I can not download any covers, why? |
Answer: This is the way the software is written. PayPal automatically reports to the site that you have cancelled your subscription. If this happens to you, please send me a PM, including your email address you used for PayPal. I can then confirm your payment, and update your membership.

| Question: I do not have a PayPal account, how else can I pay? |
Answer: There are 4 methods of payment you can use. PayPal subscription, PayPal payment, Google Checkout payment and snail mail (post) For more detailed information, please refer to the payment page.
