Several very nice covers for these films have already been made but I need one for 5 disc case with a 1" spine, since that is what I have.

Looking for an image for the back to balance with the front.

I like everything except the "Mission Impossible Trilogy" text. Would probably suggest a plain white text in a bank gothicish font.

Hi golemeye,

this start looks great. I'd like to see the finished cover!

Btw. I love spacesavers! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/arms.gif)

Here's an update and below that a comparison of title treatments
that I need some opinions on if anyone has the time.

Attached Image

Cut this out from a poster. I'm toying with different versions.
If anyone has a preference I would appreciate some help.

The top one has correct spacing so the -1-2-3- stagger gets partially over-lapped.
The second one has visually equal spacing between parts of the image.
The third one has correct spacing and the -1-2-3- stagger is increased in size
so that the -2 (middle)- section is the same height as the -M:I:- section.
The fourth one is the same as the third but with visually equally spacing.

I increased the size of the -1-2-3- as I thought it might represent better visually that the treatment is meant to show that there are 3 films, not just M:I:3 since the -3- is in front of -1-2-.

On the cover preview I used the fourth TT version on the front
and the second TT version on the spine.
Any thoughts?

Thanks:

Fourth one does it for me - I'd also adjust the magenta/yellow balance to brighten it up and make it redder - then it will fit better with the other imagery you have- nice combi (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

Looks great! Not overly keen on the blue transparences/text... little difficult to read.

BTW... I love the logo - 4th definitely best... although why don't you have the "III" at the back and "I" in the front... surely, that way... you'll see it actually says "III", "II" and "I" whereas it could be 3 "III" for all I know (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

I'm with ya Marker, I tried many ways to put the 1 in front for the reasons you listed.
It just doesn't work visually. It always looked like the -1-2-3- was receding on a different line than the -M-I-.

Anyway, thanks for the opinions guys, I'm going with #4 as suggested.

And I let this cover get away from me, it was getting completely muddled.
So I deleted about 80 layers and reworked it. It's not done yet of course
but I think it going in a much cleaner direction.

Howz about MI:C instead of III? C for "Collection". You don't know if there is going to be another one.

The last version is my favourite. I prefer this match which seems more real. The first one was strange a little bit

I was thinking something like:

(IMG:http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb211/m4rk3r/mi3.jpg)

(Obviously, above is a quick edit of your logo, so looks crap - lol)

However... you're newer looks great so far... blue flames is a lot better (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

Loving the update and Markers idea for the logo makes a lot of sense, but with your previous spacing.
