I'm big on saving storage space, but still prefer to use DVD cases rather than sleeves or booklets to store movies. I like to put several similar movies in one case as a 3-pack, 6-pack, 8-pack, etc. Not only does it save shelf space but ink and paper costs as well. It requires quite a bit of work to make custom combo covers though, specially trying to make quite discrete artworks look good together.
Sometimes I just do the spine, with nothing on the front or back, just for cataloging purposes. But if the movies are very representative of a certain genre, I will make a full combo custom for them.

Here is one that I am working on right now.
