With the specs being released, and what looks like may be quite a good film, I decided to throw this together in my spare time. It needs something to spice it up, but I can't think what. So if anyone has any suggestions, then please let me know (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

Thanks

Ok im no expert, but let me give this a try,

first thing i would try with this cover is the black bar at the back were it has special features just above that shows a faded city (landscape) maybe remove that and add a solid black landscape that merges with the black box and possibly have windows with same fill as background (yellow) kinda like the lights are on.

Second the why don't they stop me part, try a black box there aswell and then make the text fill same as title on front.

hope that makes sense

This is coming together nicely, Bazz. I like your second version the most. The front especially - there's much more play with colors.
IMO though you can warm up the yellow overall tone of this cover - right now it is kinda pale. I'm not fond of using the same pic twice in a cover, so I'd change the back one., coz I think waht you did one the spine is well - spot on.

Logos, legal ad credits should be darker - that will make them stand out better. I think You should try out aligning you special features.

I like those screens. That looks good next to the spec features...

Just my 2.. Hope it helps ya out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

I will keep the same image on the back and the front, as they are on two separate parts of the cover. How's this looking?

Better! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

You could try to make it a tad warmer (I tried with saturation @ +20) - see if it makes it better - otherwise I think you're home free, m8

Me-thinks quick:
The font for the names and tagline on the front, looks a bit too high. I'd personally adjust the width of it so that it looks a bit more "square".
And is it just my vision or doesn't her hair on the front look a bit grey/whiteish? Not so sexxhay mate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)
For the spine, I'd move the title up a bit, and add some other pic or detail instead of reusing the pic from the back.
And if you ask me, the "why don't the stop me?" on the back looked better in black. As for the other two quotes, I'd make them bold or pic another font.
All in all, a good looking cover so far.. but I know you can do it better (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

getting rusty baz (IMG:style_emoticons/default/giggle.gif) .......kidding..nice cover so far. totally agree what Fredrik said. I'd use the back quotes straight (not angular) and use a Bolder and wider font like Eurostile, Bank Gothic or Zurich. but hey.........that's just me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

If I have to be nitpick about (guess I do  ) add that grunge You have on the pics on the front and spine to your new pic on the backside...

Humm... I am still not sure about some things.
-- Do you have a good back layout with straight lines, then why not justify the synopsis in a block to balance the things.
-- The quotes also don't seem well with this shadow and maybe without the white ... I try black.
-- The tagline also would be better without Italic?
-- The screens also need some attention.

Just my 2 cents Bazz m8. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

Ok you might have reason...
I think you do not need this quote above the synopsis ... Up just a little synopsis of the block and tag... Stretch a little vertically... Adjust the space in the 8 th line for the word "stop" fit within the block square ...
In the second quote you can make the treatment anterios yellow / white, but with a minimal shadows
And given the same treatment of front in the screens??
