My Favorite Custom Cover:
Stargate - The Movie by Powers

My Favorite Cover Designer:

The latest cover in my Criterion Collection. Usually the Criterion retails are pretty good, but this one was atrocious. Inverted picture? I mean come on, this is noir.

Maybe the Criterion designers had the same problem as I did. There is pretty much no artwork out there for this 1932 movie. I'm actually amazed that I managed to make something for this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

found a lobby card that had the image I used on the front. I have attached a full resolution shot of it, so you can see what I have been working with.

I think I made about 2000 healing and clone brushes on this image. The image on the back is from a rare press book, which also needed a bit of clean up. The press book and lobby card went for 6572.50$ at an auction.

My covers may only be viewed on well calibrated screens and printed on well calibrated printers.

ok, ignore my comment in the gallery (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue2.gif) You have shown what you had to work with (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) Very impressive. I would be interested in seeing a preview of all your criterion covers lined up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

You must of had a lot of coffe running in your veins to do 2000 heal/clones.
Turned out smashing mate, very very very impressive as for the (total) lack of resources!
