My latest I am working on. Nothing special, but I am struggling with ideas for this. So any ideas would be appreciated (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

Your text alignment for the names on the front is way to close to the spine, imo. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue2.gif)
Also, perhaps try and have a pic on the back with the same color/contrast as the front one. Might work well.
And maybe integrate some texture on the title? Overlays R sexxhay. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)
Looking aight so far, but not the usually-good-looking-rubbish you do. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

like B3AR said match the back pic contrast with the front. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif) ... and you've got too much love for the credits block (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue2.gif) .. and please don't hate me, but can you try a different color for legals?

The guys already said everything, the only thing i think you could change is the New Line template, this is the old one, the new one is much better imo.

Great start Baz.

I only have one comment: underneath the "R" rating you have the reasons listed, including "Some Violent Content".

SOME!? Have you seen this movie?

I'm just gonna assume that's from a template since the real reason is "for pervasive strong bloody violence, sexuality and some language."

But yes, Some violent content was a good laugh. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

lmao - haven't seen it yet, but you are right, it is a template ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue2.gif) The special features, credits logos etc are just part of the template I am using, but I shall get my hands on this updated one Arky is talking about! Just a quick mock up though, is this going in the right direction?

Much better, Bazz. How about some bullet holes? From what I've heard they use them guns a LOT in this flick! I like the colour on the girlie on the back - and the job you did on Clive's head (but be sure to get all his hair in colour - I heard some men don't like gray hair  ) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

What is your idea for spec feat's?

as I'd mentioned Nice work mate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue2.gif)

i would say;
-Smoke on the front with a lot less opacity.
back:
-remove owen and replace it with the pic of monica belluci.
-Put the critic quote and horizontal. and make it a bit bigger.
-same goes for the sysp. just put it the to right of the picture with a bit bigger font and more internline space. around her arm
U already have the Pictures on diagonal to follow the front Layout (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

all those small things might work really good on this cover. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

Of course that is just my modest opinion (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistle.gif)

cheers mate,
-J

I totally agree with Jaldo...
When I saw this for the first time, was thinking about would say that the synopsis and quote didn't need to be tilted ... I believe in horizontal well is better.

Thanks:

You're a far braver man than me attempting this one Baz. The studio's picked a real nasty treatment for the title which is gonna be a real bugger matchng anything else up with. On a brighter note you've done wonders with the imagery and even made Monica Bigmuff look tasty (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

If it helps, I just saw this recently and you could add carrots, baby milk and lots and lots of guns (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

Nice carrot there, Bazz! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rofl.gif)

Try to change the TT color. Might bring more balance to this one.

I like those carrot holes - and the nanny tagline!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

btw: that blue color in your boxes in the bottom of the back do not imo blend in.

FYI, the nanny tagline is actually a line from the movie, but from Clive...not Monica.

My advice: keep the .psd file and start a new work. You don't have any fresh idea NOW to finish this but who knows if tomorrow or next week you won't wake up with a new and GREAT idea?

Well, I had given up with this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) It just wasn't happening for me, but then Jaldomar came to the rescue (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif) I think he has done a brilliant job with the back, what do you think??
