The characters on the front could do with some shadows, to make them look like they are standing there, and I would try and clone in some more grass on the back (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) Good start though! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

I agree, the characters need to look a little bit more grounded. But I like how the back is turning out.

As bazzah said the fron t characters need some perspecive shadows added to make them appear less 'Floaty' other than that nice start.

Every change, the work improves, it's good, but you really need to add a shadow characters in the front (with said) so that the work is perfect.
It's very good by the way, continues. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

Nice work but i would add shadows to the character so it looks like they are standing there also add some shadows underneath shreks hands on the title.

I'd say you need to take all of Shrek's bulk into consideration. He's not a small guy! - He'll definately cast some shadows on the letters below.

Also AGAIN: add them shadows on the front. The people are floating there! If you're unsure how to do this, you might wanna try out adding a new layer - place it beneath the layer of the characters. Choose a feathered black brush 50% opacity - now paint them shadows. Do take the light into consideration. You should take careful look and choose how the shadow should drop. (Take the background's shadows into your consideration. How does the shadows from the tree fall?)

I hope this advise helps you out, matey!

P.S.: there's a slight white line going underneath the syopsis block that should not be there. Erase it.

I know what youre saying but if he is levering him self over the letter than he would be behind the text only his hands would be touching it.

cover looks great but when i look at this cover there are 2 issues that bother me....

1. The Shadowing of the charactars on front still look off (they seem to be floating)

2. No special features?

thanks Demonology for the suggestions.
For the shadows I must have resolved (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif) but for the special Insert I do not have absolutely no idea where to put them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chin.gif)

Looks much better but you might want to add some of the shadow around the feet.... look at the shadows around your feet and you will see what i mean
