want to make this stark and menacing...right direction?
plan to have the rear pics in line with spine title, same ripped effect as the eyes.

My Favorite Custom Cover:
Bunny Dojo's Blade Runner



The blood on the "ho" (the letters... Not that Janet Leigh is a "ho") stands out a bit to me. I would think about getting rid of that effect and sticking with the original frame. Maybe put some blood splatter behind the text? Or as a border around the letters? I don't know... It just sticks out, in my opinion. (It may be because Psycho is one of my favorite movies and it just doesn't go there.) But I love the direction this is going!

Nice start buddy, I like the idea for the title treatment and I'd personally make that the focus of the cover, loosing the eyes above the title all together.
