I've used windvd a few times to capture some video stills, but the images are small so when blown up they become low-res. Are there any free programs that will take larger stills? I may have asked this question before in another thread sometime ago, but I couldn't find it, so I apologize if it was out there....

I use VirtualDub for mine. But remember, when it comes to quality and resolution, it's all about the source. You won't find a program that can make the screenshots bigger and better, then what you get from resizing them in PS.

Depends on how much you resize it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif) You can't really upscale a screenshot that much before the quality becomes crappy. It all depends on what the screenshot is of, and if you add some texture to it. You just wont find some magical program that can make highres, hq screenshots when the source is a dvd. If you want better shots you need a better source (i.e. HDDVD or Bluray)
