Still in their original sealed packaging! This one will be for Toy Story 2 and I'll use Woody for Toy Story 1.

Looks good Caveman. Maybe add some shadow or texture or something to the cyan box, so it's not completely monochromatic.

Original post updated with what I've got for the back. I'm not sure about that hanger thing at the top. I guess it'd have to be on the top of the box, outside of view, in order to be functional.

Works perfectly CML, unquestionally the best cover for this movie I've seen. The hangy thing works too.

When you see a front cover that looks so god, it isn't often that later you get to see the back looking as good as the front. But this is an exception to the rule. I REALLY love this cover. Just one thing I noticed, the legal text needs to be aligned left with 'Products and colors may vary'

I have to keep coming back and looking at this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue2.gif) Have you thought about making the 'hook thingy' on the back look more 3d? So it is creased as though it has previously been hung on a hook?

I updated the first post with a new pic. I changed the font on the front and played with the justification of the synopsis to make everything more evenly spaced. Finally I added perspective to the hook to make it look used. I think it looks better but it still doesn't look like it'd actually function...but most people seem to say keep it anyway.

Bazzah, I'm not sure what you mean about the legal text. The "product and colors may vary" is left justified because its a line unto itself. The legal stuff is full justified since its a block of text. Both line up evenly on the left side though. Are you saying that everything should be justified the same?

Thanks for all the comments. Once I get everything straightened out on this one I'll made Toy Story 1 with Woody.

Maybe it is just the preview, but to me it looks like the 'P' from products is between the 'N' and 'O' of not on the line below. Not that it really matters anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue2.gif)

Ok two choices. The first choice has the box part tapering down to a flatter back piece at the top, and that is where the cutout is. Spine is a bit of a problem though since there should actually be just a sliver visible and the rest would be nothing, but there's really no way to convey that. Hope that makes sense. The other choice is with an updated hanging tab by Skally. It still is unrealistic since it'd need to be above the cover, but it looks more like a real tab.

I've seen action figure boxes use both of these styles.

I would go with option 2, but the 'tab' need to be better colour matched (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8834.gif)

I think I finalized the design for the cover with Buzz on it. I made one for Toy Story 1 with Woody too, but the back is a little bare since he doesn't have all the gadgets to label like Buzz does. I can't think of anything else to do though.
