Hey JollyRoger, nice start to this and good choice of imagery. I prefer the version with the texture in the back.

A few suggestions, you don't need the bevel and emboss on everything, particularly logo's, if they don't stand out enough, try making them a different colour, perhaps white. The synopsis looks a little cramped, try leaving a little more space around it on the left and by the ladies shoulder. There aren't many fans of UK retail templates, so I recommend altering that a little or modifying a R1 template instead, that'll also give you a little more space to work with on the back.
