So I was browsing through IMDB earlier this night and came across this upcoming movie. Seems promising and I got inspired straight away after seeing the stills available. Still a while before it comes out on DVD but I thought I might as well start something up while I have some ideas.

Worked with colors and lighting quite a bit. Started out with these two images:

great looking cover m8.....
Trailer is on quicktime and this is 1 of 2 films i'm really looking forward to seeing(films done by actors)
This film looks brillaint and as a very good cast also and i like'd mystic river....

Other film done by a actor is Sean Penn's "Into The Wild" which looks impressive also....

As for cover i think Casey Affleck's face needs a tad more light, also reminds me of b3arstyles work
the color blending of 2 very different color orangey color going into the blue very impressive.....

Thanks guys! Currently working on the back, will probably have something to show you in a day or so.

Storm Raider: Yeah, me too. It's more gratifying to create a cover without any poster art.
Demon: You're probably right about Casey's face, could use a bit more lighting.

Bit of an update.

(IMG:http://static.pici.se/pictures/XEGkbIcfQ.jpg)

Obviously the special features and quotes are fake, just made them up to show how I was planning the back to look like.

The lighting as it is at the time of this post looks spot on to me. That is some very professional looking work you have constructed on the front.

I had a look into this film last night after seeing the post and the images that were avalible and I have to say I am very impressed with your work on the front superb blending anduse of colour and light. What makes in even more impressive unless I am wrong is that I have not found the street scene back ground being associated with this film. if that is the case and it is a stock photo that is totally separate to the film then this is absolutely superb work on making the background image blend so well and look like a standard piece of artwork released for the film (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb.gif)

Clark: the barcode stays. At least for the R1 version; the R2 version may possibly come without.

Global: Yeah, the street is in fact a stock photo of some street in Boston (where the movie takes place) and totally separate from the film. Thanks for your kind words!

So since I promised GC to finish my Gone Baby Gone cover I started a while back now, I sat down with it. But the front wasn't really working for me, I had lost it's appeal I guess. So I figured I'd do it over again, and although the new front is similar to the old one, it feels fresh and exciting.
