thanks for the reply kylumi there are a lot of techniques I have never used before on the labels

the cover...
well I wasnt going to do one but the scan I got the label images from was good enough but the wrong dimensions for a 2 disc box... the text was horizontal so after a bit of messing it's now vertical...umm

I haven't done much at all to the front and was thinking of loosing the logos at the bottom, the spine is custom and the back got an overlay and the hologram removed.

i use an action file in photoshop which allows you to make previews of labels but you have to do it to the jpeg. I think that the pro version of imandix does cd previews now.

found a demo copy of imandix pro and tomorrow I'll see about working something in photoshop, but for now I'm knackered and thirsty and to top it all I now have to boil my piss just to have a cup of coffee... it's nice living in Gloucestershire (IMG:style_emoticons/default/winking.gif)

ok I've lost the extra logos and certification on the front and did a bit of a clean-up on a couple of the images on the back.

anything else? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chin.gif)

@kylumi the st trinian films are from the golden age of british comedy and span over 10 years, so taking into account the time period (1954-66) when these movies were made they would have been considered quite risqu, of course by todays standard they will seem positively tame, also if you get the Monty Python, Two Ronnies and many other british comedies portrayal of men dressed as women type of humour (Alastair Sim plays Millicent Fritton/Clarence Fritton) you will thoroughly enjoy this fantastic box set.... there is a fifth film The Wildcats of St. Trinian's (1980) which is just a shallow rehash and brings nothing new to the four previous gems, but is still worth a look.
there is also a new st trinians and according to the imdb its in post production and could be in cinemas later this year.
